Etched Cliffs

I dove into both conceptual and technical work in my printmaking class and found myself fully immersed in this technique of intaglio (drypoint and etching). Though quite different than stippling with Micron pens, I was impressed with what I can do with drypoint and etching and the amount of detail I can create on a plate was similar to what I can do while stippling. It was freeing and also nerve wracking at the same time since there's no going back after I've etched onto the plate. I'm happy with the outcome of this piece and how I was able to infuse my style into intaglio printmaking.
